How is this different from regular shampoo?

Liquid shampoo is about 80% water, and the sulfates that make it foam strip the scalp and leave it irritated. A solid bar carries no water at all: every gram is active. You get 60 seconds of concentrated botanicals in direct contact with the scalp, instead of ten seconds of foam sliding off your hair.

How long until I see results?
